Part 1:

Students will watch a video lecture by Motlow VR subject matter experts. Students will experience the SME demonstrating equipment and proper lab safety. At the end of the lesson, students will take quizzes on VR and VR lab safety.

Part 1:

Students will watch a video lecture on netiquette. Students will learn what netiquette is and how social interactions online should be treated the same as in person. At the end of the lesson students will take an interactive Kaltura video quiz.

Part 2:

Students will be assigned a self reading assignment on netiquette consisting of web articles and will participate in a discussion board with fellow students on the benefits of netiquette and how netiquette is especially important in VR.

Part 1:

Students will watch a video lecture on VRChat that covers how to navigate the world, what the controls are and what safety features are available in game. Students will use the laboratory equipment to enter VR and select their first avatar.

Part 2:

Students will watch a video lecture on Engage that covers how to navigate the world, what the controls ar. Students will use the laboratory equipment to enter VR upload a photo of themselves to the Engage platform to generate an avatar that resembles themselves.

Part 1:

Students will deliver their speeches in a VRChat classroom with their peers as their chosen avatar.

Part 1:

Students will deliver their speeches in a VRChat classroom with their peers as an alternate avatar that is more human in appearance. Students are encouraged to select an avatar that closely resembles themselves.

Part 1:

Students will deliver their speeches in an Engage VR classroom as an avatar that resembles themselves using the uploaded photo from lesson 3.
